Production
Since 1958, Jägermeister’s global headquarters has been located on today’s Jägermeisterstraße in Wolfenbüttel. The heart of the site is the huge oak barrel warehouse, where the Jägermeister base is produced and matured for around twelve months.

Ripening process
Around 400 massive oak barrels are used to store the Jägermeister base at our Wolfenbüttel factory. In these barrels, the Jägermeister base is allowed to ‘breathe’ and mature at its own pace for about a year to fully develop its flavour.

Our Symbol
At our bottling plants in Wolfenbüttel-Linden and Kamenz, pure water, alcohol, caramel and liquid sugar are added to the Jägermeister base and filled into the familiar green bottles. Our machine and plant operators ensure a smooth bottling process.

Introduction
In 1977, the Linden plant was opened on the southern outskirts of Wolfenbüttel. For almost three decades, it was home to a central warehouse until 2006, when it was converted into a bottling plant. Today, the Linden plant handles two-thirds of Jägermeister’s total production, covering a significant portion of its bottling operations and is one of the largest and most modern spirits bottling plants in Europe.

Kamenz
Filling
In 1996, the newly built bottling plant opened its doors in the small town of Kamenz in eastern Saxony. Jägermeister gradually expanded the site to include production and storage capacity. From Kamenz, the legendary herb liqueur is exported to countries including Eastern Europe and Spain.
